A mining company is looking for a Diesel/ Tyre Mechanic to join their team in Limpopo. The team will be working both Opencast and underground.

Position: Diesel / Tyre Mechanic

A mining company is looking for a Diesel/ Tyre Mechanic to join their team in Limpopo.

The team will be working both Opencast and underground.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines
• Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems Perform preventative maintenance
• Perform welding or fabrication tasks on equipment as necessary
• Prepare work orders and order parts
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Complying with Health and Safety standards
• Quality control

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Valid driver’s license
• Diesel technician or mechanical Trade
• Experience in diesel engine repair
• Mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills
• 2 Years’ experience as a qualified diesel mechanic
