Diesel Mechanic

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry is looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Pretoria West.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Essential: Trade Tested qualification.
• Experience in maintaining construction machinery and earth moving equipment.
• Experience in hydraulics.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Running diagnostic tests on the construction machinery and vehicles.
• Replacing construction machinery parts, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Checking vehicles and machinery for damaged parts.
• Test driving construction vehicles.
• Maintaining records of parts and services.
• Maintaining stock and inventory.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the work environment.
