POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience performing vehicular maintenance on the provided types of vehicles and some experience with military vehicles.
• Oversee the maintenance quality of all mechanics validating compliance with technical manuals and in accordance with the inspection system checklist
• Validate maintenance documentation for accuracy
• Maintain performance metrics on all maintenance activities

Duties:

• Provide scheduled and unscheduled intermediate and preventative on-site vehicle maintenance support
• Provide off-site vehicle maintenance support to non-operable vehicles includingon and off-site in the local area.
• Perform scheduled inspections/tests; diagnose faults utilizing Technical Orders/manuals and/or diagnostic equipment; repair/replace unserviceable parts, assemblies, subassemblies and components; refinish, fabricate parts, make modifications; repair accessories and auxiliary equipment and body and structural repair.
• Maintain all vehicles to the standards contained in the manufacturer’s manuals/technical orders.
• After performing maintenance/service, and repairs the vehicle shall be cleaned per COR direction
• Start minor repairs per work orders within 15-mins after receipt of vehicle.
• Add and replenish all fluids/lubricants to include: engine oil, transmission fluid, brake and hydraulic fluid, gear lubricants, and coolants
• Maintain strict control of all accountable documents; this includes logs and registers required by the government.
• Utilize a service call log
• Utilize proper protective equipment (provided by the contractor)
• Provide on-call support with response times during duty hours within 1 hour and off-duty hours within 2 hours of being notified.
• Capable of reading/writing/speaking/understanding English
• Possess a valid/current driver’s license
