Diesel Forklift Mechanic

Introduction

Our client is currently seeking an experienced diesel forklift mechanic to join their team in Winklespruit.

The successful candidate will be providing technical and diagnostic assistance as per the client’s requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of forklifts on-site.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Repairing, servicing and maintenance of diesel forklifts at the client’s workshop
• Complete job cards and communicate with Managers
• Housekeeping and clean-up of all maintenance areas/work areas daily.
• Assisting with other general maintenance activities as required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 5 Years’ experience with servicing and repairing of diesel forklifts is essential.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems will be an advantage.
• Must have a diesel forklift trade test certificate or other related qualification accredited by SAQA.
• Must adhere to all SHE requirements.
• Must have a driver’s licence, own vehicle and ability to commute to site.
