SUMMARY:
Our client is an established national supply chain company offering local and international logistical solutions on land, air and sea. They currently have a vacancy available for a Diesel Coordinator to drive a specialised diesel project to allow transporters to minimise operating costs.

POSITION INFO:

DUTIES

Find and identify contactors that might qualify for the diesel solution package. This will include visits to vehicle gathering sites e.g. truck stops to identify possible new transporters.

Marketing the package to respective contractors.

Day-to-day issuing of diesel orders to the contractors.

Corresponding with contractors and salespersons to ensure that loads have been realised and collecting POD’s as evidence.

Planning of diesel orders to ensure that nearest and best filling station are used, and trucks have diesel to complete orders.

Monthly reconciliation of loads vs diesel orders and calculating the admin fees per contractor.

REQUIREMENTS

Senior Certificate

Valid code B driver’s license and own transport.

Relevant work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.

Willing to travel from time to time.

Available after business hours and during weekends.
