Job Position: Development Project Manager

Location: Port Elizabeth

Salary: R16 000 to R20 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification with laptop and cellphone

Permanent with 3 months probation 

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday , work after hours without overtime plus standby available on your mobile device

Qualifications / Requirements:

•             To start immediately

•             Prepared to travel (License Code B required)

•             Able to work under pressure and able to address multiple situations and multi-task, while offering the highest level of service

•             Self-motivated and driven

•             Good communication and presentation skills

•             Results driven, positive and professional disposition

•             Minimum of matric and any tertiary qualification would be highly advantageous

•             Experience with strategizing with retailers on improving sales on all fronts and checking on site maintenance

Key Performance Areas:

•             Bring sites online and functional ASAP

•             Prepare existing or new sites for revamp/rebranding site

•             Identify if site has a retailer and experience aligned to this

•             Arrange sites visits

•             Check the accuracy of costings provided by development specialists, compiling costing accordingly with supporting documents

•             Chasing to get funds unlocked

•             Issue orders, identify which contractor can take site and get an estimate start to finish timeline from contractor and report accordingly

•             Stay close to finance in terms of cash flow planning for projects

•             Stay close to credit control department ensuring standard applications is handed in timeously

•             Identify and report risks

•             Manage projects closely and always be one step ahead

•             Ensure contractors not taking shortcuts
