Development Dump Truck Operator

SUMMARY:

We are currently partnering with one of the Country’s biggest Diamond Mining Company’s, in order to recruit, retain and acquire the best possible candidates for their new Underground Mining Project

In order to fulfill these permanent mining vacancies, we will need the following

Development Dump Truck Operator

POSITION INFO:

The minimum requirement for the position is: 

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / N3 / Equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
• Competent B certificate

Experience required

• Minimum of 3 year’s working experience of operating Development Dump Truck in Trackless underground mining environment
• Previous experience in sub-level caving will be advantageous
• Willingness and ability to work shifts, do standby duties, callouts, and work overtime as per what the role will require

Additional information:

• Code B Driver’s License
• Required classification as per VTS testing for specific role (Orange +)
• Medical Certificate of Fitness to work underground
• The incumbent will be required to work shifts
• The post is dependent on the successful completion of the Company’s pre-employment protocol such as qualifications verification, relevant psychometric assessments, and a clear security clearance
