SUMMARY:
Experienced AWS DevOps Engineer required for a permanent role in a promising start up.

POSITION INFO:

An award-winning MedTech company have a great opportunity for an AWS focused DevOps Engineer to join their team.

Their flagship product has become even more relevant in today''s world meaning that their growth plans have accelerated massively.

This is a chance to join them on the ground level of what looks like a meteoric rise to be the next tech success story to come out of Edinburgh, as well as the opportunity to join a company which is making a positive impact on society.

What will I be doing?

As an experienced DevOps Engineer, you will focus on internal Infrastructure utilising Docker, GIT, MySQL and AWS.

Although there are some DevOps practices in place, you will be given loads of autonomy to deep dive into what has been done and implement change to improve the processes.

Although much of your time will be spent working with the internal infrastructure, as they are a fast-growing start-up there will be no shortage of interesting projects to get stuck in to.

As part of a small team, you''ll be working closely with the wider business (especially tech) to help drive the continuous improvement of the Infrastructure estate.

Who am I?

You''ll be passionate about tech; particularly Cloud environments and ideally will have worked in a small organisation or start-up before.

This isn''t essential but it''ll help you to come in and hit the ground running! Due to the size of the company, you won''t be able to shy away so you should be someone that is outgoing.

How much will I be getting paid and where will I be based?

There is a salary range in place of £45,000 - £55,000 with added benefits which include a strong holiday package, career growth and the chance to work in a growing industry with unlimited potential.

The interview process for this one is fully remote, and you will be fully remote for the first wee while too.

The company is headquartered in Edinburgh City Centre, so the office is easily accessible. When safe to do so, they will expect you to spend most of your time in the office or at least be commutable to the office a couple of times per week.
