DevOps Engineer – S/Subs of Cape Town - Market Related

JOB DESCRIPTION:

I am seeking a DevOps Engineer to work within the Software Engineering Team to deploy, update, maintain, troubleshoot & ensure a health state of the various applications with within the company.

Minimum Requirements:

- Degree / Diploma in IS or Computer Science

- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with 24/7 online systems

- Solid understanding of networking (WAN/LAN/GAN/Wi-Fi/VoIP) & related technologies

- Good development background & knowledge of different compilers and languages

- Maintenance, management & administration of Ubuntu Linux

- B2B/System/Web/Micro-services integrations

- Proven experience in the following:

BASH
Python and/or Nodejs
PHP
MySQL
