POSITION INFO:

Description:

The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing quality technical expertise to support and maintain the end user computing environment. Support includes installation, configuration, security, diagnostics, repair, maintenance and upgrading of IT hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and providing end user assistance where required, utilising the call management and Service desk processes and procedures.

Education:

        N.Dip or an IT Related Qualification

Skills:

• At least 3 Years of experience as a Service Desk Support Technician
• Experience with providing remote support
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill
• Self-motivated achiever committed to providing service excellence
• Solid work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to a constantly evolving and changing environment
• Mind-set that understands the critical importance of service availability, recoverability, maintainability and scalability with a customer centric focus
• ITIL Intermediate V3
• Certification and experience in the administration of Microsoft Office 365
• Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification
