JOB DESCRIPTION:

Design hardware test automation
Coordinate product RF, EMC, safety, and hazardous atmosphere certification
Hands-on approach and involved in the detailed design and review process
Define and communicate the prioritized roadmap plan incl measurable progress and improvements
Develop and maintain engineering best practices, design guidelines, processes, and checklists for hardware design
Design certification strategies that drive product design
Manage product certification
Liaise with product quality assurance

Qualification:
BSc/BEng Electronics Engineering
MEng Electronic Engineering

Skills & Experience:
RF electronics design experience
RF- and EMC certification
Altium Designer
Version control - GIT
General product safety certification experience

Minimum requirements:
2+ years of work experience in electronic product design
Mixed signal, analog, high-speed digital, and RF circuit design, and layout
Electromagnetic compatibility design
Embedded C programming
Sound understanding of laboratory equipment.

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
