This company is looking for an ambitious Design Engineer with 2+ years’ commercial PV projects, AutoCAD, and MicroStation experience. It is vital that you have an uncontested knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 quality standards to ensure all outputs are of the highest quality. Your uncanny ability to deliver while working in a high-pressure environment will exceed expectations and your initiative and persistence will work in your favour as you interact with various departments to prepare drafts for project proposals. You are the perfect candidate if you are a non-linear thinker and problem solver that is able to apply their knowledge and expertise concerning different PV, Genset, and energy storage technologies to design their client''s energy system solutions. In conjunction with this skill, you have the ability to provide intelligent solutions and can anticipate how one design decision affects another and consequently, be flexible in nature to adapt your design, ensuring compliance with the client’s requirements as well as solar regulations. Since you will be working on projects across South Africa - it is essential that you have a deep understanding of the various tariffs to ensure that your designs produce optimal yields and an ROI.
