SUMMARY:
Design draughtsman required at well established client. Plant design and Bulk Materials handling equipment design. Multi disciplinary draughtsman with mostly Mechanical skills required. Person will be responsible for Plant layout and design, P&ID drawing 3D equipment design etc. Person we require must have between 5 and 10 years proven drafting skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DESIGN DRAUGHTSMAN
DURBAN
 
Company is over 30 years of hands-on practical field and design skills in bulk solids materials handling, Pneumatic Conveyors and Mechanical Conveyors and stand alone equipment and machinery or complete Turnkey Systems. The company specifically service the South African Mining, Metallurgical Processing and Power Generation sectors.
 
Qualification
Computer Aided Draughting  Diploma
OR:  
a Trade test in Mechanical or electrical field and draughting skills
 
Skills required:
Minimum of 5 years design draughting skills
Solid skills in Plant design and Bulk Material Handling equipment design
Solid Edge 2019 / Team Centre
AutoCAD 2D & 3D
 
Responsibilities:
Site Measurements
Detailed Layout Sketches
Design Meetings & 3D Model Reviews
Mechanical 3D Design & Plant Layouts From P&ID’s
3D Equipment Design & Full Fabrication Details for Machining, Plate Work, Structural & Piping.
Drawing Office Administration
Utilizing knowledge in 3D CAD and 2D Draughting Standards.
