SUMMARY:
Our Client in Midvaal is looking at recruiting a Design Draughtsman.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Experience: 5 to 10 years in 3D mechanical parts and components. Heavy engineering with trailer and automotive industry experience being preferential.
Qualifications: Any tertiary qualification below an engineer is preferred.
Software: Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook), Nesting Software (any but not critical), AutoCAD and Inventor (Preferred).

Responsibilities:

Convert 2D designs to 3D.
Assist in implementing drawing standards.
Manage and maintain specific products.
Take on complete projects from start to finish.
Assist production and repair departments as needed.
Create nestings for plasma.
Assist with day to day.
Data capturing and filing.
Bills of materials.
Proper planning and time management as the successful candidate will be expected to function successfully on their own.
Maintain good interdepartmental communication and relations.
