SUMMARY:
Recruiting for an experienced Deputy Director: Monitoring and Evaluation candidate that is well-versed in Disaster Risk Management.
POSITION INFO:
My client is an institution within the public service focusing on areas involving disasters and disaster management initiatives country wide. They strive to promote customs that develop, implement and drive policies that incorporate risk avoidance while strengthening stakeholder cooperation’s within disaster management.
Eligible candidates will be responsible for managing and improving monitoring and evaluation systems and reporting on response interventions relating to COVID-19. Potentials who are self-starters, creative and analytical are encouraged to apply!
Duties:
- Report writing and summarizing
- Supporting and directing operations
- Coordinating and supporting implementation of key operations relating to disaster risk management and compliance
- Contingency planning
Qualifications:
- Degree or National Diploma in Disaster Management / Fire Technology or equivalent
OR
- Degree or National Diploma in Public Administration/Management (with experience within disaster management environment)
Experience:
- Min. 3 years in disaster risk management, public / fire safety or emergency management
