SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role is to manage the Academic quality of the core business.  You will have lead responsibility on planning and strategy development across the Academic Business Units, as well as the management of Registrar, Knowledge Management, Publications, Accreditation and all other aspects required for good internal management of the organisation.  This role will support building internal capacity and work to improve internal work processes, improve quality, staff performance and overall organisational effectiveness.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Joint responsibility with the CEO and Deputy CEO of Strategy for the overall management of the organisation in line with the organisation’s strategic plan.
  2. Responsible for monitoring organisational performance against the strategic plan, working with staff to stay on target and looking ahead to the long-term development of the organisation operationally and strategically.
  3. Responsible for initiating the annual planning process and for overseeing and coordinating its development ensuring it is in line with overall strategic goals and mission of the organisation.
  4. Joint responsibility with the CEO and the Deputy CEO of Strategy for developing good relationships with external stakeholders including strategic alliances and partnerships.
