SUMMARY:
Our client, a powerful market leader in the Logistics industry, currently seeks an efficient and effective individual to provide administrative management service to 4 of their regional depots and national clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Business / Administration.
Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial role.
Experience in warehousing and logistics.

Key Performance Areas:

Manage the delivery, receipt, packing, unpacking and dispatch of containers.
Liaise with suppliers regarding service and rates.
Set up client accounts, which includes rates, special requirements, standard operating procedures, implementation, stock take and invoicing queries.
Manage the depot office, its employees, resources and all related administration.
Prevent loss of and/or damage to cargo.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
Achieve budget volume and revenue targets for the depot.
Build and maintain client relationships, ensure ICS add value to our clients supply chain.
Promote a people and service focused organizational culture.

Detail orientated.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
