Package: Basic Salary R34000 plus benefits = R40000 CTC P/M

Purpose of the position: Foresee business evolutions impacting Region demand forecast at detailed level, on 0 to 18 months’ horizon, by interacting with region Sales and Marketing and through Data analysis to propose an accurate demand plan

Key Activities

• Tactical Demand Capturing & Collaboration with Commercial Team:

✓ Ensures Proper analysis of historical and future demand (Seasonality, trend, performance/accuracy level) in order to propose a forecast baseline leveraging Statistical forecasting Models & tools

✓ Ensure performing required analysis / preparing required inputs ahead of monthly collaborations

✓ Hold monthly collaboration with key stakeholders to review qualitative and quantitative inputs,

challenge and validate bottom-up demand

✓ Influences/challenges stakeholders to validate the proposed forecasts, based on qualitative and

quantitative analyses

✓ Elaborates scenarios to establish monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts using the existing models

✓ Ensure aligning and validation of Demand signal with key relevant stakeholders

✓ Reconciles forecast variance analysis with business trends and recommends progress plans to

organization

• Demand Mix Management

✓ Elaborates / manage the mix for the defined perimeter

✓ Disaggregates demand plan based on the mix to feed operations

✓ Apply phase in /phase out demand forecast by collaborating with region sales

✓ Maintains mix elaboration process maturity and data integrity

✓ Ensure robustness of Mix Data flow through various systems (Mix reject check Gap analysis and

corrective actions)

• Reporting & Forecast accuracy improvement:

✓ Measure and Steers demand forecast accuracy with proper analysis with identification of corrective actions.

✓ Ensure communicating on monthly basis Forecast accuracy key KPIs to all key stakeholders and Drive corrective actions implementation to improve results Vs Target

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Mathematics, industrial

Engineering.

• 2-3 years of experience in demand planning; 3-5 years in demand planning. B2B ideal, motor industry, FMCG will be preferred.

• Good communication & collaboration skills;

• Excellent Spreadsheet skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint,

Word); Excel Is a MUST, at advanced level.

• Data driven & analytic skills, experience with Power BI is a plus;

• Knowledge and experience in Statistical forecast & forecasting models
