SUMMARY:
Our client requires a Deceased Estates Administrator to join their team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

  • Liaise with clients
  • Place estate notices
  • Drafting Liquidations Account in terms of the Will
  • Ensure that all conditions as stated in the Will are effected, i.e. Transfer of shares, Vehicles, Fire-Arms etc.
  • Calculation of Estate Duty (if applicable)
  • Drafting of final cash statements, reconciliations and payment instructions to heirs
  • Liaise with the Master’s Office / Financial Institutions / Sources of Business

Requirements:

  • Work independently
  • Have excellent communication skills – internally and externally
  • Deal with a high level of maturity with all clients – externally, internally and telephonically
  • Be proactive – must be aware of possible problems that are going to arise and proactively deal with it
  • Have patience and empathy
