POSITION INFO:

We have a vacancy available for a Debtors Specialist. This position will be for remote working (work from home), the successful candidate will be self motivated, structured and disciplined. 

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Accounting Certificate
• Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Knowledge of QuickBooks online will be advantageous
• MS. Excel
• Knowledge and experience of the full Debtor function
• Should have experience in a similar role in a IT/ ISP Enterprise environment
• Designated Office space at home, with a stable internet connection

• Participate and contribute towards creating a successful and effective debtors process, and the implementation and maintenance thereof.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain billing system.
• New client creation.
• Credit checks.
• Generate and post billing.
• Send invoices, statements and credit notes.
• Effectively communicating with different internal departments to ensure correct billing.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Maintain and keep age analysis up to date- e.g collections.
• Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
• Investigating and resolving irregularities.
• Liaise with clients, handling and resolving billing queries.
• Working with Creditors to verify supplier billing against client on billing.
• Working with Service Delivery and operations
• Receive, respond to and process service/ product cancellations.
• Maintain and update all applicable internal portals.
• Following internal processes.

Other:

• Since you will be working from home there must be no distractions - Normal office hours apply (08:00 - 17:00)
• Start date January 2022
