Debtors Manager

POSITION INFO:

Accurate financial reporting

Pro-actively monitor and address debtors over their credit terms

Ensure all debtors are collected on time

Ensure credit policy and procedures remain relevant and adhere to

Ensure credit-worthiness vetting is done and complete

Reduce and minimize exposure and risk to bad debt via Debtors Controller and lawyers, to maximize collections in line with commercial standard set

Calculate cash flow forecast

Monthly Sales and Credit reporting

Ensure completeness of all income generating transactions

Assist with Sales Forecasting and Budgeting

Assist with all Internal and External Audit requests

Manage and lead subordinates

Income and Debtors related financial projects and requests

Skills & Experience:  

ERP system knowledge (Sage X3 will be an advantage)

Credit Insurance knowledge (CGIC Credit Insurance knowledge will be an advantage)

Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency

Sufficient IFRS knowledge regarding Revenue and Financial Instruments

Sufficient VAT Knowledge

Prior working experience in Transport and Port Logistics

Qualification:

Degree / Diploma
