Debtors / Creditors Clerk

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Debtors & Creditors Clerk for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

-                     Matric with 3+ years’ experience handling both debtors & creditors and stock control in a production environment

-                     Working knowledge of Pastel Partner (preferred) and MS Office

-                     Mature candidate sought to suit company culture  

-                     Client is based in the broader Gonubie area, therefore candidates in this area would be ideal

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

-                     Reconciling debtors (value approx. R7m) & creditors (value approx. R4m) accounts

-                     Trade references for debtors

-                     Compile all creditor documents for payments (P/O, Delivery notes, Tax Invoices)

-                     Following up on outstanding debtors payments

-                     Generate and send out debtors statements

-                     Stock control and inventory level monitoring of various depot’s

Salary:  R10 000.00 per month (slightly negotiable)
