Debtors Clerk / Reception (Sage) - 2 Month Contract

SUMMARY:
Debtors Clerk / Reception (2 Month Contract) is required for client based in Midrand

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements: 

• Sage experience required
• 2 month fixed term contract 
• Debtors book value is R5million across 5 business units.

• Courses in accounting will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 - 7 years proven experience in a debt collection position. 
• Responsible for full debtors’ function, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as legislative requirements. 
• Responsible for the friendly and helpful answering of the switchboard and directing calls to the correct point.

Bookkeeping:

• Update levy and course fees for the new financial year. Capture the pricelist list for January implementation.

Debtors:

• Prepare and send out levy invoices to members monthly by the 3rd working day of the month.
• Prepare and send out levy invoices to members that pay annually by the 7th working day in January.
• Ensure that statements are sent out monthly by the 4th working day of the month.
• Allocate receipt allocations to member accounts daily.
• Responsible for debt collections as per agreed targets and member queries continuously.
• Responsible for monthly debtor’s feedback report 
• Responsible for quarterly debtors’ feedback report for the organization Audit, Risk & Investment Committee and Board meetings 14 workdays before each quarterly Exco meeting
