SUMMARY:
Our client in the motor industry is seeking a Debtors Clerk to join their team in Edenvale. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience, Matric Certificate and a Certificate / Diploma in Bookkeeping / Credit Management (or similar).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Debtors Clerk
Industry: Motor Industry
Location: Edenvale (East Rand residing)
Salary: R15,000 - R20,000
Closing Date: Wednesday, 06 July 2022

Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Certificate/Diploma in bookkeeping/credit management/similar.
Knowledge / Skills:
  • Daily invoicing.
  • Monthly statement runs.
  • Debtors collections.
  • Investigations in house on disputes raised by Customers.
  • Processing of bank account and allocations to remittances.
  • Investigations before issuing of credit notes.
  • Credit applications assistance to FM.
  • Weekly reporting on collections and cash flow expectations to Management.
  • Other daily reporting as required.
  • Occasional overtime might be required during month ends.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Debtors role in the Motor Industry.
  • Experience with Evolve or Carriage financial systems (advantageous).
