Debtors Clerk

SUMMARY:

A young Engineering consultancy firm based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, is looking for an experienced debtor’s clerk to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities: 

·         The clerk will provide accounting and clerical support directly to the Financial Manager.

·         You will be responsible for the complete debtor’s function.

·         Issuing invoices.

·         Credit notes.

·         Following up on outstanding debtors.

·         Debtors’ reconciliations.

·         Debtors monthly reporting.

·         You will assist with various administrative and clerical functions including the completion of documents submitted to council, NHBRC documents, completion certificates as well as preparing Tender and PROCSA documentation.

·         You will need to relieve reception for an hour daily during their lunch break.

Requirements:

·         Matric / Grade 12.

·         Pastel Experience.

·         3-5 years’ experience in a finance administration role.

·         Competent in Excel.

·         Pastel experience a must.
