SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Pietermaritzburg, currently seeks a Credit Controller who is responsible and hardworking and who can start immediately.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Credit Management Level 2 - a strong pref.
At least 5 years’ experience in a Debtors role.
Provide accounts information to management.
Check customer’s credit ratings before opening an account for a customer.
Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments.
Maintain contact with external (customers and depots) and internal (finance, dispatch and sales) to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
Resolve queries both internally (finance, dispatch and sales) and externally (customers and depots) around outstanding invoices, claims processing, age analysis and follow up.
Post and allocate daily receipts to Syspro. Post and email debtors statements monthly. Post breakdown of journals to debtors’ deductions.
Upload invoices and statements to the various portals of Major National Retailers.
Download invoices, remittances and claims from the various portals.
MS Office (Word, Excel) and Syspro experience.
