Debtors Clerk

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a Leading Food Manufacturer, is looking for an Experienced Debtors clerk to join their team in Johannesburg North on a Maternity Cover.

Duties and Responsibilities.

*Maintains routine and accurate bookkeeping.
*Keeps records of payments made.
*Determines which accounts are overdue.
*Contacts companies who owe money in writing or by telephone to recover the outstanding balance.
*Makes follow-up calls.
*In non-payment cases, makes the decision to ‘hand over’ to lawyers for collection.

KEY SKILLS

Organized.
Confident.
Able to handle difficult, non-paying customers with diplomacy.
Accurate.
Computer literate.
Attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS 2 years FMCG Retail Experience.
Matric.
