A leading distributor and supplier of frozen and grocery produce seeks an experienced and deadline driven Debtors Clerk to join their finance team based in Johannesburg West. *Please note this position requires the successful incumbent to work every second Saturday from 08h00 AM to 13h00 PM.

A leading distributor and supplier of frozen and grocery produce seeks an experienced and deadline driven Debtors Clerk to join their finance team based in Johannesburg West.

*Please note this position requires the successful incumbent to work every second Saturday from 08h00 AM to 13h00 PM.

The purpose of this position will be to maintain debtors books by correctly invoicing and allocating monies and providing management with an accurate reflection of the debtors status.

Duties will include but not limited to invoicing, debit and credit note generation, capturing of receipts, daily debtors reports, statements, completing credit applications and liaising with customers regarding outstanding debt.

Education:

Matric (Grade 12)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5 to 7 years’ experience in a debtors / accounts receivable role

Pick-n-pay / Checkers / Shoprite accounts experience is a non-negotiable

Advanced MS Excel skills

Syspro experience beneficial

High values and high volumes experience is non-negotiable

Good relationship building skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Team player

Deadline driven

Meticulous attention to detail
