POSITION INFO:

To assist Credit Controllers with receiving, investigating and resolving customer queries in the agreed SLA and any ad hoc duties required by the Credit Controllers.

Duties:

Weekly and monthly preparation of client invoices and credit notes.

• Processing of credit notes.

• Provide POD and invoice as requested.

• Ensure that credits processed are correct as per customer claims. If not prepare POD, check and send to Cape Town/Johannesburg returns.

• Extract monthly rebates and discount journals.

• Assist Debtors Supervisor with Credit Applications.

• Filing all documents as per departmental process and procedure.

• Follow up on all discrepancies and returns (PODs).

• Logging calls for shortages, damages and returns.

• Matching claims with credits.

• Creating new accounts.

Qualifications:

• Matric

• Accounting/Finance qualification will be advantageous

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years Credit/Debtors Management experience

• Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook

• Knowledge of systems (preferably Kerridge)

• Ability to reconcile and resolve queries

• Willing to work overtime
