A retail and property investment conglomerate boasting with a national footprint seeks a Debtors Administrator to join their finance team based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs. *Please note this a fixed term contract for 6 months.

A retail and property investment conglomerate boasting with a national footprint seeks a Debtors Administrator to join their finance team based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs.

*Please note this a fixed term contract for 6 months.

The purpose of this role will be to take responsibility for the accurate processing and reconciliation of incoming payments, as well as follow up on any outstanding payments.

Duties include but not limited to:

Follow up with tenants on monthly rentals and arrears

Completion of bulk sms schedules

Letter of Demands

Process accounts and incoming payments

Perform daily financial transactions related to accounts receivable

Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger

Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing queries

Monthly Debit Order Lists

Weekly reporting on outstanding payments

Education:

Diploma in Accounting or Finance

Skills & Experience:

3 to 5 years'' experience in a debtors role is non-negotiable

Property industry experience is non-negotiable

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

MDA system working knowledge

Financial acumen

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
