Overview:
Our client is on the hunt for an experienced Debtors & Creditors Manager, with experience dealing with large retailers in South Africa.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities: Debtors
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Payment postings
  • Statements run 
  • Resolve queries - unpaid/short paid invoices
  • Collections overdue accounts
  • Email invoices to stores for payment
  • New accounts - check credit application forms, trade references, load on the system
  • Download invoices, remittances, claims from Store Portals
  • Prepare salary schedules for cross charging to stores
  • Control credit limits of salons
  • Review salon promotional stock - current vs previous
  • Journal entries for staff purchases
  • Intercompany credit transfers
  • Debtors cash forecast
  • Prepare a summary schedule of debtors` month-end report
  • Invoicing
  • Month-end reports
Responsibilities: Creditors
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Prepare creditors for month-end payment
  • Manage Petty Cash
  • Assist with general administration related work
Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications
  • At least 10 to 15 years experience in this role is required.
  • Good time management skills
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • MS Excel (Formulas)
  • MS Outlook (automating rules to manage incoming emails, formatting rules)
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Fully conversant with Syspro.
  • Experience in dealing with large South African retailers
