Debt Counsellor Client Care

SUMMARY:
An exciting position exist for a Debt Counsellor Client Care who has an excellent understanding of the entire Debt Review process and the various duties performed throughout TCDW as well as a positive, patient and constructive ability to deal with Client, NCR, PDA, Credit Provider and Credit Bureau queries. The incumbent must know and understand all the Debt Counsellor tasks as set on in the NCA and Task Team Agreement.

POSITION INFO:
Required Minimum Education / Training
·         Matric / University Graduate
·         Passed the DC Exam (requirement)
·         Registered with the NCR (requirement)
·         Experience in the Debt Review processes laid out in the Task Team Agreement (Including DCRS) and NCR published guidelines
·         Experience in negotiating with Credit Providers and consumers
·         Experience on utilizing a Debt Counselling system (Maximus-advantageous) and proposal preparation
·         Proven problem-solving skills.
·         Good command of the English language to write business e-mails and reports
·         Clear criminal and credit records

Required Minimum Work Experience
·         5-7 years’ Experience in the Debt Review Industry
·         Any previous Banking experience would be beneficial
