Requirements

• A minimum of two years'''' experience as a stock controller in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in inventory management software
• Tertiary education would be beneficial
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiation, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

 

Duties

• Forecasting supply and demand to prevent understocking and running out of stock
• Submitting purchasing details including vendors information, invoices, and pricing to the internal database
• Placing an order to replenish merchandise as required
• Manage inventory and purchasing of merchandise based on the companies needs
• Track shipments
• Oversee inventory audits
• Maintaining reports for purchases and pricing
• Knowledge of supply chain procedures
• Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors clients and internal teams
• Responsible for increasing profitability and effectiveness by maintaining optimal levels of quality product at all times
