SUMMARY:
Dealership Cashbook Clerk - Century City - Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well established Dealership located close to Century City in Cape Town is looking for a experienced Dealership Cashbook Clerk.
The purpose of this position is to support and assist the Financial Manager and Debtors Supervisor in the payment of cashbook items.

Duties: (included but not limited to)

Receipt payments
Bank imports
Reconcile accounts
Prepare weekly and monthly bank recons
Allocate cash sale accounts
Process banking
Control cash accounts
Generate invoices and credit notes
Processing of journal entries

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years relevant working experience in the Automotive Industry as a Dealership Cashbook Clerk Clerk at franchise dealership level. (No other experience will be considered)
Working knowledge of ADP, Evolve, Automate, Autoline or Kerridge is essential
Must be able to handle pressure
Good administration skills and attention to detail
Good organisational skills
Good numeracy and Excel skills

Salary: R10 000 - R12 000 CTC (depending on experience)
