SUMMARY:
Dealership Cashbook Clerk - Century City - Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well established Dealership located close to Century City in Cape Town is looking for a experienced Dealership Cashbook Clerk.
The purpose of this position is to support and assist the Financial Manager and Debtors Supervisor in the payment of cashbook items.
 
Duties: (included but not limited to)
  • Receipt payments
  • Bank imports
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Prepare weekly and monthly bank recons
  • Allocate cash sale accounts
  • Process banking
  • Control cash accounts
  • Generate invoices and credit notes
  • Processing of journal entries
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have at least 3 years relevant working experience in the Automotive Industry as a Dealership Cashbook Clerk Clerk at franchise dealership level. (No other experience will be considered)
  • Working knowledge of ADP, Evolve, Automate, Autoline or Kerridge is essential
  • Must be able to handle pressure
  • Good administration skills and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good numeracy and Excel skills

Salary: R10 000 - R12 000 CTC (depending on experience)
