Dealership Accountant

a Well Established Dealership is seeking the services of a Dealership Accountant for the Pretoria, Gauteng area.

The ideal candidate will apply principles of accounting to analyse financial information and prepare financial reports. Responsible for maintaining the general ledger and financial reporting. We will only consider candidates who have experience in working for Car dealerships. 

Duties:

• Account processes
• Financial analysis and reporting
• Budgets
• Corporate governance, compliance and audits
• Financial systems and databases
• Respond to account queries
• Training and leadership of other financial employees on systems and processes

Min Requirements

• Degree / Diploma relevant to accounting / bookkeeping /financial management
• Motor Industry experience specifically at dealership level, this is non negotiable.
• Must have at least 8 years experience as a Dealership Accountant (experience must be within the motor industry)

Beneficial Skills

• Automotive Software experience (non negotiable)
• Tax Calculations 
• Knowledge of Motor Dealership operations
• Financial reporting
