We are looking for the NOC L1 datacenter Engineers who will be responsible for the maintenance and basic administration of the datacenter active systems as well as provide a basic level of troubleshooting of systems such as servers, infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, Active directory, monitoring of services, NMS, Backup and restoration etc. The candidate should have basic knowledge in OS management of popular windows and Linux operating systems. The candidate should have basic understanding and experience in virtualization and cloud computing, and also should have experience in monitoring/NMS and backup/restoration solution.
- Proactively monitor and basic troubleshooting of all Windows and Linux systems to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime.
- Manage and maintain SLA, ticket handling, escalation management
- ITIL framework understanding
- Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
- Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hotfixes on servers
- Should have experience in customer handling
- Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
- Basic understanding of backups and restoration
- Evaluate all documents according to system requirements and evaluate all design and perform tests on all development activities
- Perform regular troubleshoot on the system to resolve all technical issues. Should have problem solving skills
- Monitor everyday systems and evaluate the availability of all server resources and perform basic activities of servers
- Assist to configure and deploy all virtual machines and install and provide backup to all configuration procedures.
- Administer all performance for various resources and ensure optimization for same and provide support to all applications and ensure the optimal level of customer services.
- Perform troubleshoot on all tools and maintain multiple servers and provide back up for all files and script management servers.
- Perform tests on all new software and maintain patches for management services and perform audit on all security processes.
- Experience in vendor management and support vendor activities in the datacenter
- Support in cabling (ethernet, fiber, and power) activities in the datacenter
- Maintain the heighne inside the datacenter
- Basic understanding of networking and TCPIP
- Well versed with Change management, capacity management, incident management, and ITIL
- Ability to put requirements into operational scenarios and communicate effectively with management and customers
- Should have exposure in ITSM Tools
- Keep all systems as updated as possible
- To assist with other general data center duties as directed
- To provide remote hand support and service on network equipment
- Coordinate with the end-user business requirement to ensure that the processing of their work was completed on time and error-free.
