SUMMARY:
My client based in Northern Johannesburg is currently seeking a Database Administrator to join their thriving team.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Perform day-to-day DBA tasks, such as backups, restores, SQL Agent jobs/processes, security, data analysis, data extraction and assistance to developers

Maintain the integrity and availability of databases; Design and implement database changes according to best practises

Databases environments are MS SQL Server and MySQL

Development

Data integrity issues

Windows event log

SQL Server error log

Maintenance

Reports

Processes

Backups

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Database Administration Certification

Essential Skills:

T-SQL coding and Database Administration

MS SQL Server 2000 and/or MSSQL Server 2005 and/or MSSQL Server 2008 and/or MSSQL Server 2012

MySQL
