Data Scientist Manager

SUMMARY:
Currently hiring a Data Science Manager: Credit Risk & Lending will be a part of the Data and Business Insights team, which is a high-performing team that is passionate about data that works closely with all stakeholders in the organization to ensure we proactively use data to maximize customer experience and business performance. The Data team services all the bank’s areas from Marketing to Channel to Product through to Credit Risk.

POSITION INFO:
Qualification/s Required:
Bachelor’s degree with any field with an advanced quantitative focus, including but not limited to Psychometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Econometrics, Engineering, etc.

Experience:

• At least 4+ years of experience in analytical and data-driven environments.
• At least 2+ years of experience in Credit and Lending environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of data mining / predictive modeling tools such as SQL, R, SAS, Python, etc.
• Sound judgment in addressing commercial challenges.
• Strong analytical and data skills.
• Demonstrated experience in driving results and co-ordinating activities to solve problems across multi-functional/diverse teams, and leading with high energy and a positive attitude
• Strong relationship-building skills and an entrepreneurial approach that leverages further Opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and excellent relationship-building skills.
