POSITION INFO:

Fast-growing technology company seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Data Scientist at their offices in Stellenbosch. Ideal candidate has a real passion for Mathematics/ Statistics with top marks achieved while studying.

For the position you would be required to have:

Minimum of Honors'' degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science
Minimum of 2 years'' working experience
Experience working with extremely large amount of data (not consistent, noisy)
Innovative and creative

Responsibilities would include you to:

Building mathematical models and forecasting
Analysis of large amount of data
Develop complex optimisation algorithms and predictive models for various problems
Verify accuracy of assumptions if data is incomplete/ noisy
