A Data Scientist is needed to join a Consultancy in South Manchester, as they look to grow their data & analytics team for taking on some huge projects in 2021.

This role offers the chance to progress your career in data science as you deal with a variety of fast-moving clients from all over the UK and work in a small, close-knit and highly talented team of data professionals.

You will be utilising their exciting technology to solve some unique data challenges where you can show your ability in delivering solutions and thinking creatively.
This means working with the company''s internal data model built from a multitude of data sources, so not only will you be using their internal data, but also large customer data sets to help create new products.

Main Responsibilities:
**Creating and implementing models to meet your client requirements
**Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders throughout the business, both internal and external
**Represent the company when meeting external partners and be able to explain why you are building what you are building to them
**Develop your understanding of the company''s data sources in order to solve various data challenges
**Deliver on solutions by exploring and analysing both internal and the client''s own data to create new insights for projects, whilst working alongside different business partners.

Skills/Experience:
**Academic background (PHD, MSc or BSc) in disciplines such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning and others - or relevant work experience as a Data Scientist
**Passionate about complex problem solving using data
**Sound understanding of various machine learning techniques
**Programming experience - Python or R is totally fine
**Great communication skills, with the ability to explain work to non-technical stakeholders
