Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of system data in Finance Process cycle
• Provide support to System users

Specific Responsibilities

•         Collaborate with the FSSC Team to maintain Client master file clean-up which includes:
  • Correct tagging of clients
  • Correct full client details in system
  • Correct VAT status of clients
  • Correct site setup
• Collaborate with the FSSC Team to maintain Supplier master file clean-up which includes:
  • Correct full Supplier details in system
  • Correct VAT status of Suppliers
• Data quality for all new clients/maintenance of existing clients in line with procedure.
• Full implementation of client credit worthiness status, with changes to system accordingly.
• Improved turnaround time (TAT) for client creation.
• Cross system validation (SLIMS/ORACLE)
• Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
• DQM access in Oracle.
• Authorized to interact with SLIMS administrators for deactivation of incorrect client accounts.
• Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and take action to address the issue.
• Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified or when nonconformity is identified.
• Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or entry to hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection and take action to address the hazard.

Required Skills

Education

• Minimum of Matric

Experience

• Accounting background (Accounts Receivable an advantage)
• Finance system knowledge

IT Competencies

• Accounting packages (SUN5, ORACLE would be an advantage)
• Ability to administer new applications
• Proficient on MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
• Email proficiency
• Support desk previous experience (an advantage)
