SUMMARY:
Remote Role Recruiting for a Data Modeler/Analyst to join our leading client who is based in Durban. The Data Modeler/Analyst will be responsible for designing data modeling and data integration solutions, utilizing tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and R, as well as leveraging in house solutions developed for managing data integration.

POSITION INFO:

Roles and Responsibilities

Integration of Client’s data and possible external sources to provide overall solution
Ensure all data import processes run properly
Vantage solutions are updated per SLAs with clients
Interact with account manager team, as well as Head of Operations to communicate any issues to client
Solve any data import and solution update issues promptly
Ensure highest levels of data integrity and quality during data processing and transformation

Key Competencies

Skilled in importing data from various sources
Ability to clearly document and execute processes relating to data setup, technical roadmaps for clients and solution design for data integration processes
Ability to design and implement data integration workflows in tools such as Alteryx
Ability to design and implement solution usage reports, and solution error reports, in tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and R
Ability to self-manage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to effectively speak with Senior people
Very solid work ethic
Energetic and flexible
Ability to work in a quickly growing team
Desire to work in a flexible environment that focuses on results and rewards results

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3 years cleaning, modeling, and integrating data for internal and external solutions
Preference for a person who has worked in a dynamic environment with large volume of records
Experience using ETL tools
Alteryx experience beneficial
