Data Manager - Employee Benefits (Pension Funds Administration)

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a dynamic Financial Services Provider seeks to employ a Data Manager - Employee Benefits Administration.

Purpose of the Job

Manage a full portfolio of funds in order to meet theSPA''''s. Support Administrtors and Team Leaders by providing on-the-job coaching when required, management of business processes and ensuring adherence to such processes.

KPA''''s/Key Outputs

Manage the flow of incomimg/outgoing data
Obersee the Contribution updates process
Oversee member terminations and exits (incl payments)
Over see the preparation of Member Benefit Statements
Oversee the preparation of Administration reports for BOT
Oversee the preparation of Fund Year End recons and reports
Attend and present BOT and other Fund Committee Meetings, RAC, Deth etc
Prepare, Analyse and present Fund Information from RFAS monthly e.g. claims processed from Parent Benefit Build Up Report
Prepare and manage team (inc Yearly Forecast)
Plan (review) team weekly, monthly
Compile performance statistics from MIS Tool
Attend to customer queries
Proactively identify opportunities for new business within the Fund
Provide team members with on the job training when required to.
Proces all claims and contributons as per the Company Standards, Proceses and Procedures
Follow admin standards as per client SPA

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education

A degree/diploma (relevant to the Retirement Fund Industry) or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualifiction (Certificate of Proficiency advantageous

Experience

Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in Retirement Fund Administration as well as 3 years in a Supervisory position

In-depth knowledge of Retirement Funds Administration
Knowledge of the Company''s Administration processes, procedures, legislation, systems (Everest) and other products and services
Industry understanding - clients and competitors
Company''''s Operational Business Processes
Knowledge of processes for managing data and records.
