SUMMARY:
Job Purpose: Manage a full portfolio of funds in order to meet the SPA’s. Support Administrators and Team Leaders by providing on-the-job coaching when required, management of business processes and ensuring adherence to such processes.

POSITION INFO:

Our client seeks to employ a Data Manager for their Employee Benefits Division

Job Purpose:  Manage a full portfolio of funds in order to meet the SPA’s.  Support Administrators and Team Leaders by providing on-the-job coaching when required, management of business processes and ensuring adherence to such processes.

KPA’s / Key outputs

• Manage the flow of incoming/outgoing data
• Oversee the Contribution updates process
• Oversee member terminations and exits (inc. payments)
• Oversee the preparation of member Benefit statements
• Oversee the preparation of Administration reports for BOT
• Oversee the preparation of Fund Year end recons and reports
• Attend and present BOT and other Fund committee meetings, RAC, Death etc.
• Prepare, Analyse and present Fund information from RFAS monthly e.g., claims processed from Parent Benefit Build Up Report.
• Prepare and manage team (inc. Yearly Forecast)
• Plan (review) team weekly, monthly
• Compile performance statistics from MIS tool
• Attend to customer queries
• Proactively identify opportunities for new business within the Fund
• Provide team members with on the job training when required to.
• Process all claims and contribution updates as per the companies Standards, processes and procedures
• Follow admin standards as per client SPA

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Education:
• A degree/diploma (relevant to the Retirement Fund Indutry) or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification (Certificate of Proficiency an advantage)

• Minimum 3 - 5 years'''''''' experience in Retirement Fund Administration as well a 3 years in a supervisory role

• A degree/diploma (relevant to the Retirement Funds Industry) or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification (Certificate of Proficiency is advantageous)

• Minimum 3-5 year experience in Retirement Fund administration, as well as 3 years in a Supervisory position
