JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for a Data Insights and Analytics Lead to be based in the Parktown area.

Requirements:

The following degrees would be preferred for the role
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Science
o Bachelor’s degree in Data Science
o Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics
o Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics and/or Applied Mathematics
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
At least 5 years’ experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data
At least 3 years’ experience leading a team.
Minimum experience of 5 years working with BI tools
Must have experience in data science, statistical analytics and experience in understanding the business requirements and customer journey

KPAs:

Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
Design and build technical processes to address business issues
Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level team members
