Data Insights and Analytics Lead

Our client has an opportunity available for a Data Insights and Analytics Lead to be based in the Parktown area. 

Requirements:

• The following degrees would be preferred for the role
  o Bachelor’s degree in Business Science
  o Bachelor’s degree in Data Science
  o Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics
  o Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics and/or Applied Mathematics
  o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• At least 5 years’ experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data
• At least 3 years’ experience leading a team.
• Minimum experience of 5 years working with BI tools
• Must have experience in data science, statistical analytics and experience in understanding the business requirements and customer journey

KPAs:

• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
• Design and build technical processes to address business issues
• Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
• Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level team members
