Data Engineer - Cardiff - Remote
A Data Engineer is needed to join a prosperous organisation based in Cardiff to satisfy its business and customers.
The role
You''ll be joining a multi-disciplined team of analysts, modellers, and engineers where you''ll be working together to create a platform to the business to improve business strategy and development. The project''s end-user will be provided with autonomy which will add value to business operations and decision making.
You''ll apply your technical knowledge and expertise to the highest standard to satisfy customers. The right person will have the ability to understand data and use it for insights and innovation.
This role needs someone that is solution driven, a team player with the ability to work alongside technical and non-technical stakeholders at every level of the business.
Requirements
- Experience working with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server and or Teradata.
- Understanding of data warehousing and cloud technologies.
- Competent in interpreting data from a range of sources to deliver solutions
- Ability to work in automation using CI/CD tools
- An excellent team player that embraces the company culture
