Data Engineer
A data rich and indeed driven organisation is looking for a Data Engineer to join one of their key squads as they look to elevate their overall platform, utilising AWS primarily.
Your new role & the skills you''ll bring
As part of the team who are building and maintaining the overall Data Lake, you will be dealing with data at a granular level.
You will be building the data pipelines with the company aiming to go completely serverless, they are making use of Apache Airflow - any experience with that tool or similar would be ideal.
Experience of batch processing and real-time ingestion patterns would be really useful for this team and it goes without saying you''ll be comfortable with scripting - probably with SQL and Python.
The team works in an Agile way and where possible encouraging Paired Programming, so again if you are used to that it will make your life a lot easier!
In an ideal world you will come armed with a wealth of AWS knowledge. However, if you happen to work somewhere which makes use of Azure or GCP in a similar way, they would still be very keen to chat - you would just have to be happy moving over to an AWS environment.
