SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available! Our well known client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Data Capturer Clerk to join their dynamic team in Durban.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Ensure that deliveries are checked against JDE to avoid early deliveries.
Ensure that all stocks received are correctly identified, confirm documentation and quantity accurately accounted for either by using scale base equipment or physical counting. Quantities must also match delivery notes and meet delivery rules as laid by management
Liaise with material planning and import purchasing regarding anomalies in receipts.
Checking packaging and goods for signs of damage and deterioration and appropriate dunnage is being used.
Timeously process received delivery notes into stock and transferring of all works orders (Production requests)
To ensure that all stocks requested by production is timeously issued.
Ensure FIFO labels are put on all deliveries.
Ensure that all local deliveries and overseas shipments are decanted and located.
Ensure that shortages are reported to Planners/expeditor’s prior to issue of last batch.
Any other duty as assigned by management.
Housekeeping as per 5S standards and Auditing there off.

Job Requirements:

Matric
Certificate in Material Handling or similar logistics qualification
Hyster License required and preferred.
Experience in an ERP system – advantageous JD Edwards
Experience with goods receipt, warehousing, transport, dispatch

Competencies Required

Computer Literate (JDE)
Self-motivated
Sound knowledge of material handling
Firm & assertive nature
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
