JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client a leading E-Commerce company based in Woodstock, cape Town reuires a competent and experienced Data Analytics Technician to join their team.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Ensuring that the business requirements and subsequent development activities are supported by accurate information.

Acquire data from various data sources and combine & transform data into interpretable datasets, reports, or dashboards.

This will support current and future reporting initiatives, as well as monitor and manage general data integrity across the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a Data Analysis role

• Experience with SQL is essential

• Competence with data science standard applications is advantageous e.g., Python, SSIS, SSRS

• Advanced computer skills

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal Clear

Must reside in the Greater Cape Town area

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Interpret data, analyse results using analytical techniques and provide reports and/or dashboards • Presenting information using data visualization techniques • Performing data profiling of data contained in source systems

• Perform quality assurance checks on new reports ensuring accuracy and reasonability

• Supporting and maintaining the data models at multiple levels of detail and functionality

• Monitor daily report execution and delivery
