Data Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and manipulate quantitative data into understandable format through extensive data mining
  • Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns
  • Use T-SQL to develop and implement procedures and functions.
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
  • Provide timely scheduled management reporting
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements 

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Education
    • Minimum - Grade 12, Excel (Advanced level), SQL Server
  • Experience
    • 1-3 Years’ experience as  a Data Analyst Clerk or similar position
  • Skills
    • Ability to work independently and autonomous
    • Ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
    • Ability to communicate (verbal and in writing) complex data/findings in an easy understandable format
    • Good time management skills
    • Basic research and data analysis skills
    • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Behavioural Attributes
    • Detail orientated and accurate
    • High level of discretion and dependability
